Di Balik Naskah
Salah satu kontribusi saya dalam uprak kali ini adalah membuat naskah untuk scene 10 dan 12. Dalam membuat naskah tersebut, saya bekerja sama dengan Jessica. Sebenarnya, sebelum mengambil tema kebenaran, kelompok kami mengambil tema hidup yang berharga. Awalnya drama kami akan menceritakan tentang seseorang yang diberikan kesempatan kedua kali untuk hidup, namun itu terlalu tidak realistis. Yang kedua, kami ingin mengambil cerita yang bersangkutan dengan aparat dan korupsi, namun ditolak oleh pak Widodo. Dan yang terakhir dan yang disetujui yaitu drama kami ini yang melibatkan skandal tiga artis
Drama kami memiliki 13 scene, dan kami memutuskan untuk membagi scene-scene tersebut sehingga semua anak bisa bekerja dalam membuat script. Naskah yang saya buat dengan Jessica merupakan bagian dimana muncul 2 orang netizen bernama Krystal dan Ivy yang sedang hangout bersama. Lalu mereka lihat berita tentang ketiga seleb yang sedang terlibat skandal. Mereka pun mulai membicarakan tentang berita tersebut. Tak lama kemudian Krystal menemukan berita yang ditulis oleh jurnalis yang menyatakan bahwa berita celeb-celeb tersebut adalah hoax.
Naskah scene 12 menceritakan tentang reporter yang kembali mengomentari tentang artikel yang ditulis oleh jurnalis. Reporter juga bertanya apakah akan ada project baru lagi yang akan dikeluarkan oleh jurnalis. Jurnalis pun berkata bahwa pastinya ada project baru yang jauh lebih bermanfaat. Dalam kedua scene tersebut, saya dan Jessica juga saling menuangkan ide masing-masing. Kami menyisipkan nilai pkn yang berhubungan dengan penyebaran hoax dan juga nilai kebenaran, sesuai dengan tema drama yang kelompok kami ambil. Selain itu, kami juga menentukan latar yang sesuai dan juga properti yang digunakan. Tidak hanya itu, kami juga menentukan angle kamera yang cocok pada scene tersebut.
Setelah selesai membuat draft naskah, kami diskusikan kembali bersama dengan kelompok kami. Ternyata ada beberapa dialog yang butuh direvisi karena terlalu panjang. Sehingga saya memutuskan memotong beberapa dialog agar sesuai dengan waktu yang ditentukan. Pada video yang saya sertakan di bawah ini, menunjukkan proses saya membuat draft script dan juga revisi script bersama dengan Jessica melalui chat.
Behind The Script
One of my contributions for the practical exams was to write script for scene 10 and 12. In making the scripts, I worked together with Jessica. Actually, before taking on the theme of truth, our group took the theme of the precious life. Originally our drama was going to tell the story of a person who is given a second chance at life, but that is too unrealistic. Second, we wanted to take a story related to the police and corruption, but Mr. Widodo refused. And the last and approved one is our drama which involves the scandal of three artists.
Actually, our drama has 13 scenes, but we decided to divide the scenes so that all the kids can work on the script. The script that I made with Jessica is the part where 2 netizens named Krystal and Ivy, who are hanging out together. Then they saw the news about the celebs who were involved in a scandal. They started to talk about the news. Not long after, Krystal found the news written by journalists who stated that the news for those celebrities was a hoax.
The scene 12 script tells about a reporter who returns to comment on an article written by a journalist. The reporter also asked whether there will be another new project that will be issued by the journalist. The journalist also said that there must be a new project that is much more useful. In these two scenes, Jessica and I also share ideas with each other. We insert the value of Civic Education related to the spread of hoaxes and also the value of truth, according to the theme of the drama that our group took. In addition, we also determine the appropriate background and also the properties to use. Not only that, we also determine the appropriate camera angle for the scene.
After we finished drafting the manuscript, we discussed it again with our group. It turns out that there are some dialogues that need to be revised because they are too long. So I decided to cut some of the dialogue to fit the specified time. In the video that I have included below, it shows the process of me making a draft script and also revising the script together with Jessica via chat.
