Setelah kami mendiskusi berbagai hal, kami memutuskan untuk melakukan script reading terlebih dahulu sebelum rekaman yang sebenarnya. Alasan kami melakukan script reading adalah agar kami mengetahui estimasi waktu yang dibutuhkan per scene sehingga tidak melebihi batas waktu video yang ditentukan. Pada video pertama di bawah paragraf ini, saya sertakan video behind the scene saat saya, Alicia, Renata, dan Judah melakukan script reading. Kami mencoba untuk membacakan dialog bergantian via discord call dan ternyata estimasi waktu yang dibutuhkan hanya sekitar 12 menit ( tanpa jingle ).
Beberapa hari kemudian, kami memutuskan untuk rekaman offline. Di saat itu, kami melakukan rekaman sebelum sekolah mengeluarkan pengumuman bahwa uprak tidak boleh dilaksanakan secara online. Kami melakukan rekaman offline tersebut untuk scene 9 dan 10, serta kami hanya membatasi 2-3 orang dalam satu frame. Rekaman ini pun kami laksanakan di mall lenmarc ( tentunya kami selalu taat pada protokol kesehatan selama syuting). Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk rekaman juga tidak lama, hanya sekitar 2 jam karena kami sudah cukup hafal dialog masing-masing. Pada video kedua di bawah ini, saya menyertakan video behind the scene saya saat sedang menghafal dialog. Pada klip keduanya, saya juga menyertakan video hyperlapse behind the scene saat saya dan Jessica sedang rekaman bagian kami.
Progress #2 and The Recording
After we discussed various things, we decided to do a script reading first before the actual recording. The reason we did the script reading is so that we know the estimated time needed per scene so that it doesn’t exceed the specified video time limit. In the first video under this paragraph, I included a behind-the-scenes video when Alicia, Renata, and Judah did the script reading. We tried to read the dialogue alternately via discord call and it turned out that the estimated time needed was only about 12 minutes (without the jingle).
A few days later, we decided to do the offline recording. At that time, we recorded before the school issued an announcement that the collaborative practical exam could not be carried out online. We did that offline recording for scenes 9 and 10, and we only limited 2-3 people in one frame. We also did this recording at the Lenmarc Mall ( of course always obeyed the health protocol during shooting ). The time needed for recording is also not long, only about 2 hours because we already memorized our own dialogues. In the second video below, I included a behind-the-scenes video of me memorizing the dialogue. In the second clip, I also included a hyperlapse behind-the-scenes video when Jessica and I were recording our part.
